Terms of Use

Carpool Team suggests which parents on your team are easiest to ask for a ride, based on estimated extra driving minutes, and helps you send them a text message. That is all it does.

We do not provide, arrange, verify, supervise, or guarantee transportation. We do not run background checks, verify drivers, licenses, insurance, or vehicles, or monitor rides. Whether to offer, request, or accept a ride — and everything about how it happens — is decided entirely by the parents involved, who are solely responsible for their arrangements and their children’s safety.

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or guardian of a child on the team you join. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only to coordinate rides within teams you genuinely belong to.

Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone with access to it can access your account. Only share a team join link with parents who belong on the roster. Do not misuse the service — including scraping, attempting to access other members’ private information, or using it for anything other than team carpooling.

Detour minutes are estimates produced by third-party routing services. Real traffic, road conditions, and timing will differ. Do not rely on them for anything other than deciding whom to ask.

Carpool Team is free, and every feature stays free. Optional tips are one-time voluntary payments processed by a third-party provider under its own terms; they are not tax-deductible donations, they do not purchase any feature or priority, and they are generally not refundable by us (contact us and we will do our best to help).

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NinjaLogic Studio LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for anything arising out of rides or other arrangements made between users; our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $20 or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

You can delete your account at any time in My info. We may suspend or end access for misuse of the service or these terms, and we may modify or discontinue the service; if we do, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
